Peter Milne is the Founder/Director of Target4Green and has had over 25 years’ of experience as a teacher, Environment Coordinator, Workshop Leader, and Educational Consultant. He worked for 7 years as a teacher and Environmental Education Coordinator in Dubai, achieving the first Eco-Schools Green Flag in 2012. From 2012- 2015, Peter took on the role of a Freelance Environmental Education Consultant/Trainer in the UAE. In that time, he developed curriculum-linked school activity and CSR programmes as well as specific workshops and school support for Environmental Education and Sustainability in over 40 schools in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
 
Through the success achieved in the UAE, Peter founded Target4Green Educational Consultancy and Training Ltd upon his return to the UK in 2015 and since then he has been working with schools across the world on global citizenship, climate change, and sustainability education, including as the organiser and facilitator of the internationally successful Beyond COP21 Symposium series. As of August 2023, the global series, which was launched in Dubai in January 2016, has taken place 34 times in 18 different countries.

This workshop looks at how we can all take Climate Action through the role we play as consumers, whether it is the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the resources we use, or simply what we do with our ‘stuff’ in general. Practical ideas and solutions are discussed and shared and action statements are created as a result of this very interactive and thought-provoking workshop

Climate Change: Expressing Emotions

How can we help and support students to channel complex and varied emotions in a way that can lead to positive and meaningful action? This workshop offers students the opportunity to express their thoughts and emotions on Climate Change and its impacts, through various hands-on 'stations' where they can draw and write how they feel, as well as reflect on the thoughts of others in the group.
