Jaakko Skantsi

Mr. Skantsi is a seasoned expert in Finnish education, consultation, and international collaboration, spanning from Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) to higher education in both the public and private sectors. He's been instrumental in international projects, both as a team member and project manager. Previously serving as a counsellor for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, he facilitated partnerships between Finnish Higher Education Institutes and global entities while informing stakeholders about research opportunities. Currently, he is the Programme Director for Education Finland, a government initiative exporting Finnish educational expertise globally. His work is supported by close affiliations with the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Skilled in public speaking, public relations, and communications, Mr. Skantsi seamlessly navigates government and business sectors, advocating sustainable knowledge transfer with Finnish and international companies and institutes.
