I have worked in the U.K and Saudi education sectors for over 15 years. I've spent over half that period in Saudi Arabia in teaching and leadership. I've spent 4 years at senior leadership providing instructional coaching to teaching practitioners, mentoring QTS candidates, driving effective continuous professional development for teaching and most importantly driving student progress holistically so that student of Saudi Arabia lead in having positive impacts on their society. I'm an active Fellow of The Chartered College of Teaching as I am a strong advocate of evidence-based practice that does not compromise inclusin or equity. I've been a speaker and lead workshops for several major events organised by respected educational institutions.
Teachers start at different points in their career. In Saudi Arabia, teachers come from a variety of contexts and therefore have been exposed to a variety of expectations. This workshop will invite participants to explore how effective instructional coaching can support schools in creating a culture where all can develop and flourish in learning.
