Children's innate curiosity and experimentation require our supportive guidance through their learning experiences, even when mistakes are made—this is their path to growth. Yet, we have introduced a realm of exploration to them, which we as adults are uncertain of all its risks. How do we, as educators, make the best decisions for learning safely when the future of technology is unpredictable? This session looks at how the teaching of transferrable skills could be the key to empowering children to balance the opportunities and risks whatever technology brings.
