Dr. Eng. Ramzy Abdelaziz was awarded a Ph.D. in Nanochemistry and Materials Science from the Faculty of Engineering at Kiel University, Germany. In 2016, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science, School of Chemical Engineering, Aalto University, Finland. He currently holds the position of Staff Scientist at the Nanomicroscopy Center, Aalto University. Dr. Abdelaziz received the prestigious Young Scientist Award from the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS), France, and a Special Prize for Best and Outstanding Presentation at the Nanoerleben competition in Germany. His research has been featured in leading scientific and public outlets such as Nature Publishing Group Asia-Pacific, New Scientist, Chemistry World, Physics.org, Chemical and Engineering News (C&EN), Spiegel Online (in German), The Guardian, and MRS Bulletin (News & Analysis). He has successfully contributed to over 30 articles published in high-impact journals, including Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Light: Science & Applications (Nature), and Advanced Functional Materials. Dr. Ramzy Abdelaziz is a prominent educational influencer and content creator, with a following of over 2 million people actively engaging.
