Darren Coxon

Darren Coxon is founder of coxon.ai, an advisory specialising in the effective and sustainable integration of AI into schools and colleges. An educator for 25 years, Darren spent the last ten years of his management career overseeing the academic operation of schools’ groups, notably Brighton College’s international schools. Darren has been at the forefront of educational technology for many years, including leading the first state 6th form in the UK to move to an iPad 1:1 model in 2011. Darren is now working with COBIS, HMC and the National College on their AI training programmes. At the recent Cottesmore AI Festival, he demonstrated how working with AI can enable an entirely new school concept to be created from scratch in less than 90 minutes. He is co-host of the disruptEd conference in London on October 12th. Darren is a passionate advocate for the responsible use of AI in schools, and is part of the Education 3.0 and Future Foundation Groups, who are working together to ensure much needed change in our education system. He is host of the EducAIte Podcast and has a book planned for release later this year.
