Jenin Al Shalabi is a speaker and writer who is passionate about highlighting diverse stories that break barriers and ignite change. She works to increase education around gender equality and youth issues in the context of law, diplomacy and politics. Jenin has a legal background, having interned at firms such as Al Tamimi, Gowling WLG, and Bird & Bird. Jenin had the opportunity to speak about her work at the UN's SDG5 summit - where she was a speaker outlining the cultural changes needed to achieve gender equality. She has also undertaken fellowships and was a contributor to The Tempest, the global media company reaching millions of readers around the world. Jenin has been awarded entry to both Cambridge and the Wharton School's summer programs. Jenin is also the founder of Chatterbox, an NGO that allows 60+ young women from across 6 timezones to access mentorship in debate and public speaking.
