I am Leena Rafeeq, an 11-year-old self-learning girl, born and brought up in UAE. I am passionate about coding and software development. As an Apple iOS, Web, Python, ML, and AI developer, I have a diverse skill set that allows me to create innovative applications and programs. One of my notable achievements is that I created an application called Ogler EyeScan. This groundbreaking app utilizes Computer Vision Pattern Recognition (CVPR) and Machine Learning (ML) to diagnose eye diseases. Currently, Ogler EyeScan can detect the following four diseases or conditions; Arcus, Melanoma, Pterygium, and Cataract. Through my coding and AI development expertise, I have harnessed the potential of technology to contribute to healthcare, and currently, my application is under regulatory approval to publish. My journey in the world of coding began at the age of five, and I built my first website at the age of six. This early exposure to programming sparked my interest in my sister Hana Rafeeq, age five, who became my coding student. As her dedicated instructor, I taught her various programming languages, including C, C++, Python, Swift, and SwiftUI. We are non-schooling, self-learning girls; my sister and I constantly focus on expanding our knowledge and skills. We have embraced project-based learning and skill development to enhance our STEM journey. We have our own unique methodologies for acquiring knowledge, fostering creativity and innovation developed by our father. In addition to my technical pursuits, I am also learning human and machine languages and mathematics. I believe that a well-rounded education encompasses a diverse range of subjects, and I am committed to broadening my horizons beyond coding. I am dedicated to achieving excellence in all aspects of my education, and I aspire to make a positive impact in my home earth through my skills, knowledge, creativity, and innovation.
